Product quality begins with an unambiguous specification and continues through documentation, inspection and delivery.
Certificate-backed quality control.
Quality documentation is part of the supply process. Depending on the product and transaction, this can include certificates of analysis, supplier certificates, safety information, batch or shipment documents and independent inspection certificates such as SGS.
Independent inspection
Where the contract, product or customer requires it, third-party inspection can provide an additional documented control point before or during delivery.
Safety
Compressed gases and bitumen require appropriate handling, storage, transport and trained personnel. Safety requirements are therefore treated as part of the commercial specification rather than as an afterthought.
